As in previous years, we presented our products and services again at this year’s ACHEMA, the “Global Forum for the Processing Industry” (May 19 through 24, 2003). In case the opportunity for getting to know each other did not present itself at the time, here is a brief review: Aside from our pharmaceutical PPS / MES software Scarabaeus+ [Download Press Release], having documented compliance with FDA/EU GMP standards, CSV PHARMA [Download Press Release],our validation system for computer-aided systems, stood at the center of our trade fair presentation this year. On occasion of numerous meetings at the trade fair we were happy to realize that Scarabaeus+ has meanwhile become an established term in the pharmaceutical sector, and that it is associated with the attribute “high quality.” And since even small- and medium-sized companies are attaching increasing importance to the subject of validation, the product flyer on CSV Pharma meet with keen demand. Naturally, new contacts established with potential cooperation partners that might supplement the performance range of Scarabaeus+ were of interest to our software developers. Further perfecting of production planning, and the evaluation of process data by means of so-called MIS (Management Information System) tools represent just two interesting key words in this context. In any case, we will stay on top of things when it comes to improving Scarabeaus+ even further! There was, however, one small detractor qualifying our contentment at the ACHEMA: Sheer size of a given business appears to play a part of undeserved prominence in the selection of a PPS / MES/ERP producer. For even major corporations cannot guarantee a more intense or more continuous account management for your project than can a “minor” software company. On the contrary: For mobile, companies with commitment, such as GTI—which has been specialized on PPS / MES solutions for small- and medium-sized pharmaceutical companies since 1993—every customer is “important” and therefore well taken care of. You’re invited to see for yourself! It is in this sense that we would like to say to you: Looking forward to getting to know you!
