
On the 4th Scarabaeus Conference in Berlin Teltow
GTI impressed once again numerous customers and
prospective customers with new functionality
of the forthcoming Scarabaeus+ Release 05.02.0001
and gave new insights into the development perspectives
for their product range.
Some highlights of the program:
- The Scarabaeus+ Release 05.01.0002:
- Redesigned
user interface with options for individual
configurations
- Enhancements in the QC area
(Definition of dependencies between individual
test characteristics,
management of measuring series with multiple
feedbacks per step, etc.)
- Expanded
options for report control
- Integration
of Sec. 16, German Ordinance for the Production
of Medical Products
and Active
Substances of 03.11.2006
- Many new
functions in purchasing/sales, warehouse
posting, production, etc.
(in total more than
100 improvements and extensions)
- Preview
on the integration of the SOTHIS functions
in Scarabaeus+ and options to use
Scarabaeus+
as subsystem with existing ERP
solutions.
- Presentation of the PharAO DMS
in a live scenario and subsequent outlook on
new
features in the new version 5.7
- Guest presentation of the eCTD Manager solution
by IABG Life Science Solutions
GmbH
- Demonstration of Microsoft
Dynamics AX via
BizTalk server with regards to its
cooperation and integration with Scarabaeus+
Moreover, some workshops on the second day gave
welcome opportunity to discuss potentials and solutions
with customers:
- Lab planning with Microsoft Project
- Using Cognos
MIS Cubes to create Product Quality Reviews
- Optimising
warehouse processes (posting, inventory, picking)
using wireless scanners
All in all, this conference was another overwhelming
success, impressively documented by the very positive
feedback in a survey of participants.
