Pharmaceutical PPS / MES Scarabaeus+ Now With Client Capability—System Rollout in Just 7 Months

With its latest release, the pharmaceutical PPS / MES Scarabaeus+ by software manufacturer GTI can now be deployed in companies with distributed locations, too. Development of the client capability was occasioned by the PPS / MES rollout project for the Bavarian contract manufacturer Dragenopharm, which was successfully completed in just 7 months. Dragenopharm staff at the 4 production sites (Tittmoning, Berlin, Warstein and Neuötting) use dedicated lines and Citrix clients to access the shared corporate database. Positive results: No redundancy, transparent administration of the common master data (articles, companies, prices, among other things), and a cross-corporate overview of the production, stock and commercial processes at the diverse plants at any time. Scarabaeus+ also allows for an easy and securely tracked batch transfer between the plants or the mutual acceptance of purchase/sales processes. The Scarabaeus+ authorization system was customized to match the new client capability. Any user rights, especially the GMP-critical ones, can be defined specifically for each plant.
