Jerini AG in Berlin, specialising in the development and marketing of peptide-based medicines, relies on GTI’s long-term project experience in the industry and the innovative ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics AX. Since December 2006, about 30 users in the finance, human resources and controlling departments have been using Dynamics AX on the job. For the near future, it is planned to deploy the software in the areas of materials handling, logistics and project management, too. The organisational structure that was set up already provides online access for additional users with multi-national clients.

Dockweiler, a highly specialised maker of piping systems for the pharmaceutical and bio-technology industry, has opted for the GTI’s DMS solution PharAO. The Mecklenburg-based company, which has been using the Scarabaeus+ PPS/MES for many years, intends to use the system initially for commercial archiving. The archiving of other document types as well as module expansions, e.g. to include the workflow component, are planned for the near future.

The pharmaceutical PPS / MES Scarabaeus+ will be expanded to include a LIMS option in the imminent update (Q3 of 2007). Even now, the Scarabaeus+ standard version provides integrated QC features, such as the management of test specifications, the processing of test and maintenance orders and the printing of analysis certificates. The additional LIMS option will facilitate the creation of stability series at the most diverse storage conditions and the exact management of sample stock, among other things. The LIMS area is topped off with a new option for capturing measured values from measuring series individually and to have the system use formulas to calculate results.
